With a new decade looming, a goal in mind is to read more. Direct more focus on bettering the negative experiences rather than thinking that adding the ‘positives’ (which aren’t necessarily positive to every individual) will change everything for the better. Unfortunately there is a thought that if we go to the gym, eat healthy, or meditate regularly that ‘you’ll be happy’, the realisation that this is the case for some people but not all is what will change for the better next year. Resolutions are overrated, whatever the time of year if you feel your losing yourself, take care of yourself and have some self care time! Currently reading: ‘The subtle are of not giving a f**k!’ This book is exactly what’s needed to end a year where a feeling of ambiguity looms, but look around and analyse the things you’re focusing on and this book will give you the tools to discover what is important to you and what deserves to use up your treasured energy.
